Previously known as Meineke Discount Mufflers, the company changed its name to Meineke Car Care Centers in 2003 when it expanded to offer full-service auto repairs. They now perform car care services such as oil changes, exhaust & muffler services, brake repair, tire service, A/C services and much more. Founded in 1972 in San Antonio, TX, the chain currently operates over 950 centers that service approximately 3 million cars per year.
