Roadrunner Markets is a brand of convenience stores primarily in the Southeast region of the United States. Founded in 1977, its first convenience store opened in Greeneville, TN in 1980. Mountain Empire Oil Company sold the Roadrunner brand in 2017 to GPM Investments, LLC. At the time of acquisition, the brand had 92 stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The stores will continue to operate under the Roadrunner brand name.
