Barry Silver’s real estate career began in 1989, working with CB Commercial in downtown San Francisco. By 1991, Barry recognized the attraction of capital preservation and the value of reliable, long term cash flow and decided to devote himself exclusively to the sale of single tenant, investment real estate. In 2006, Barry formed The Silver Group and continues his singular focus of being one of the country's most knowledgeable single tenant net lease brokers. With this venture, he’s brought together a talented team of professionals who share his enthusiasm and passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. Over his career, and with close to two billion dollars sold, Barry has gained the reputation as an expert in the industry. Barry has been invited to speak at industry conferences, radio programs and serves on the advisory board of a popular industry publication. Most of all, his passion and enthusiasm for the business and helping customers become clients is unrivaled. Barry is a true believer in the business, and owns several single tenant properties himself. Barry is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he pitched for the Bruin’s varsity baseball team while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Today, Barry is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a CCIM candidate. Barry and his wife reside in Northern California with their son and daughter.
