Since opening its first store in 1986 in Murfreesboro, TN, the company has expanded to over 40 stores across 11 states in the southeast and midwest. In April 2023, the home merchandise chain was acquired by Gabe’s, an off-price retailer. Currently, both companies will continue to function separately. The company is headquartered in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The combined companies currently have 169 stores, operating in 20 states, with the support of six distribution centers, and will serve an expanded customer base throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Southeast.
