United Pacific is one of the largest independent owners, operators, and suppliers of gas stations and convenience stores in the Western United States. The company operates its retail and wholesale businesses in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. New York-based Fortress Investment Group created United Pacific from the purchases of United Oil Co. and Pacific Convenience & Fuels in 2015. In 2017, United Pacific was purchased by SoftBank Group Corp., a Tokyo-based telecom holding company and investment firm. United Pacific offers motor fuel products under the 76, Conoco, Shell, and United Oil flags, and convenience items through the We Got It! Food Mart, My Goods Market, Circle K, and Rocket brands. In July 2020, United Pacific acquired 95 stores from Platinum Energy with the majority of the stores being located in Southern California. In 2021, United Pacific converted all its company-operated convenience stores to the Rocket brand, launched a new website, and introduced third-party delivery services. As of mid-2023, the United Pacific network included 509 locations (453 company-operated stores and 56 fee-operated locations) and 3,500 employees. United Pacific is headquartered in Long Beach, CA.
