Village Inn is a casual dining chain that was originally known for their made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes. Established in 1958, the first location opened its doors in Denver, Colorado. Since then, the chain has grown to include corporate and franchise restaurants. As of April 2024, the company operated 116 locations in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. Today, the chain offers not only breakfast, but also lunch, dinner and award-winning pies. In 2021, the chain was acquired by BBQ Holdings, which was then acquired by The MTY Group in 2022.
