George Ghattas is a Senior Vice President with Mid-America Real Estate’s Investment Sales Group, focusing specifically on the sale of retail properties. Over the course of his 19-year career, George has built a successful private capital practice advising on the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-tenant retail properties as well as development opportunities. He also serves as a trusted advisor to developers, corporate retailers, and bank clients consulting them on disposition strategies and site selection. Prior to his role at Mid America, George worked at Cushman & Wakefield and Marcus & Millichap. He graduated from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and was a 4-year football letter winner. While at CMU, he earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. He resides on Chicago’s north side with his wife and four children and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois, as well as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
